One community, One mindset, One people
Our mission is to get our world changed into a better one for us and the generations to come. Our main mission is to advocate for human rights, peace, justice, security and democracy and to promote culture, tourism and social economic transformation in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The change we want does not occur over a single step or day. We have to start it from home, change home, change the people at home, change the community, get them to love each-other first, then love other communities around them to get the circle big enough to contaminate the whole country and at last touch and inspire the whole world with the same powerful positive energy.
By promoting love and unity among ourselves, we aim at bringing every Hema person to the same standard of Unity and mindset.
One of our main mission is to promote our culture and make it known to everyone in every continent. So that every Hema community member who cannot access the village could still be tuned to the standard.
In the past we have been victims of modified and selfishly manipulated news, We decided to have that season terminated. In Hemapress, we shall be posting genuine news, no matter how painful it could be to some people.
Hema people are always people who love peace, love and development. We want to see our country Dr.Congo the most developped country in the world. and that starts with us citizens. We are the very change we want to see.
We are the Hema people living in the Eastern Dr. Congo. Many books and researches about us show how we have originated from one of the tribes that left Ethiopia along with some other tribes in the East Africa such as Hima of Uganda and Burundi, Tutsi of Rwanda, Haya of Tanzania and a few more others.
Our culture is us, our identity, our story, our origin, our legacy… Valuing, conserving and promoting it is the best thing we could do to the future of our community. The modern world has come with so much things that seem to be interesting while having many misleading and distracting factors.
Us people of this middle generation are the ones to bring in the standard, whereby we should set a ground for the next generation to stand on. We should choose what is good in our original culture while ignoring the bad habits that our ancestors used to do in the past. We have to embrace the good things and advantages that come with the modern world and reject all its negative influence.
There is a purpose and a many reasons why God made our generation to cross a millennium season (A period of One thousand years). We may probably be the bravest generation. We are located between the man without machinery and the man with full of smart technology and automation. We are the only people who were born and spent our childhood without phones and modern smart technologies. We are the only generation that spent real time with our parents and grandparents, having story narration around the fire with our elders and every family member around, genuinely laughing and follow each step of the story without having a single word missed.
Our real world where appointment was a one-way street, where by if you need to make meet with somebody, you have got to make an immovable static appointment (No change will happen to it) and build relationship or friendship with trust and real sacrifice.
Our real world, our lovely genuine world, where is it?

We are very proud of who we are and what God has blessed us with. And we shall forever remain faithful to him, treasuring this gift. We are beautiful people both in and outside. We love each other so much that we even think that life cannot move on without talking to each other. We have been having issues to share our stories and life events because we did not have a platform of our own, as we all know facebook belongs to everyone, you can never own any of those platforms (The day they shutdown their server, your page is as well dead). We decided to have this as a prototype project which is going to serve us as a mean to promote our own culture.
The term Hamitic originally referred to the peoples said to be descended from Ham, one of the Sons of Noah according to the Bible. According to the Book of Genesis, after Noah became drunk and Ham dishonored his father, upon awakening Noah pronounced a curse on Ham’s youngest son, Canaan, stating that his offspring would be the “servants of servants”. Of Ham’s four sons, Canaan fathered the Canaanites, while Mizraim fathered the Egyptians, Cush the Blacks, and Phut the Puntites.
During the Middle Ages, believing Jews, Christians, and Muslims incorrectly considered Ham to be the ancestor of all Africans. Noah’s curse on Canaan as described in Genesis began to be misinterpreted by some scholars in Europe as having caused visible racial characteristics in all of Ham’s offspring, notably black skin. According to Edith Sanders, the sixth-century Babylonian Talmud says that “the descendants of Ham are cursed by being Black and [it] depicts Ham as a sinful man and his progeny as degenerates.”Some Arab slave traders used the account of Noah and Ham in the Bible to justify Negro (Zanj) slavery, and later European and American Christian traders and slave owners adopted a similar argument.
However, the Bible itself indicates that Noah restricted his curse to the offspring of Ham’s youngest son Canaan, whose descendants occupied the Levant, and it was not extended to Ham’s other sons, who had migrated into Africa. According to Sanders, 18th-century theologians increasingly emphasized this narrow restriction and accurate interpretation of the passage as applying to Canaan’s offspring. They rejected the curse as a justification for slavery.
