We have recently obtained images appearing to show the Cooperative for the Development of Congo CODECO: A mystical-religious armed group which draws its ranks mainly from ethnic Lendu, indoctrinating children. The images also show CODECO parading its fighters. CODECO preaches Lendu ascendancy to supreme power in Ituri through utter suppression of the Hema. And since it started its genocidal armed campaign principally against the Hema people, 3 years ago, thousands of lives have been lost.
